The 2012 calendar year began with a whimper but has since seen our workload firm with an interesting array of projects.

Projects

Most notably, the Moorebank IMT Infrastructure project, Sydney has been given the green light by the Federal Government.

Muller Partnership provided initial feasibility costs, optioneering cost comparisons and final cost plan budgets for both stages of this freight handling project. ($1.6 bn).

Other infrastructure projects such as mining, water and power are also being worked on in addition to traditional construction sector projects (industrial, residential, commercial, retail, health, aged care).

Staff

In February Alan Tan joined our Melbourne office from the Sweett Group in London where he had achieved the position of Cost Planning Director. Alan brings expertise on Life Cycle Costing and PPP procurement to his role as senior quantity surveyor.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

As platinum donors and long time supporters of the Property Industry Foundation (PIF) charity, Muller Partnership has contributed a substantial amount of pro bono time through our Sydney office assisting in the creation of PIF House at 90 Regent Street, Redfern.

The accommodation will act as a staging accomodation for young people in their challenge of entering mainstream society, thanks to PIF and Sydney City Council.

Shayne Taylor has accepted a place on the PIF NSW Board of Advisors.

Click here to find out more about PIF and here for information on PIF house.
